Obituary for Kandy Susan Vermeulen
VERMEULEN, Kandy Susan (nee De Block) – 71, of Frederick, Maryland passed away on July 11, 2018. Born in Passaic, she lived in North Haledon and Towaco before moving to Maryland. Prior to her retirement she was a hair stylist for Jerry Your Hairdresser in North Haledon and a former member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church.
Beloved wife of the late William S. Vermeulen (1988).
Devoted mother of Kristin Foye and her husband Patrick of Eliot, Maine and Kimberly Belisle and her husband Joseph of Frederick, Maryland.
Loving grandmother of Jackson and Nathaniel Belisle, Emily Yenie and her husband Senai and Eliza Foye.
Dear sister of Glenn De Block and his wife Elizabeth of Florida and Mark De Block of North Haledon.
Kandy is pre-deceased by her parents Melvin and Josephine De Block.
All Services were held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Kandy’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
Arrangements in the care of Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
