Obituary for William Patrick Walsh
Walsh, William Patrick, 80, of Franklin Lakes, passed away on March 2, 2021. Born in Ederney County, Fermanagh, Ireland on September 12, 1940 to George and Isabella (nee Carleton) Walsh. William lived in Bronx, NY before moving to Paramus, and then Franklin Lakes one year ago. William had many talents. He was a laborer for the Alaska Pipeline, and worked as a door man before his retirement. Over the years, William also worked in HVAC and as a mechanic.
He is survived by his loving siblings, his sister Maureen Sweeney and her husband Patrick of Franklin Lakes, his brother John Walsh of Alaska, brother Joseph Walsh of Ireland, and his sister Susan Caughey, also of Ireland. He was predeceased by his brother Brian Walsh of Alaska. William is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit the Walsh family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Memorial mass on Friday at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, 25 Purdue Avenue, Oakland, NJ.
