When we were growing up here in Ireland, Uncle Willie was a regular visitor ‘home’
Many times, there was no phone call or letter in advance of his visit, he would just appear walking up our drive with a cake or some buns under his arm.
A baseball cap always perched on his head, he was a quintessential ‘yank’ to us, his Irish nephews.
Now with Bella, George, Brian and our mum in heaven.
At dehiscence Dé go raibh a anam.
