SCHOTT, Wanda (Nee Gruppo), 93 of North Haledon on March 27, 2020. Born in Paterson, Wanda had lived in North Haledon for the past 71 years. After graduating from Montclair State College, she became a teacher and a high school guidance counselor for the Lakeland Regional School System of Wanaque and retired in 1987. Wanda was a parishioner of St. Paul’s RC Church of Prospect Park, NJ

Wanda was the beloved wife of 63 years to Lewis Schott. Devoted mother of Mary Ellen Schott Twomey of Barnegat, NJ., John Schott and his wife Jenny of Marlton, NJ and Steven Schott and his wife Cindy of North Haledon. Loving grandfather of Nicholas (Laura) Schott, Douglas (Katie) Schott, Kevin Schott, Amanda Schott, Rachel Schott, Scott (Farrell) Dunleavy and Kathleen Twomey and great-grandmother of Nicholas Schott and Jack Dunleavy.

Arrangements by the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services will be held privately by the family. Any future services will be posted at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wanda’s memory to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave, New York, NY 10001
