DIBSIE, Vivian M. (nee Hatem) – 85, of Franklin Lakes passed away on April 9, 2019. Born in Paterson, she lived in Clifton before moving to Franklin Lakes in 1973. Vivian was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes.

Beloved wife for over 60 years of Dr. Basil Dibsie of Franklin Lakes. Devoted mother of Karen Lyle and her husband David of Colorado, Susan Dibsie of Paterson, Lisa Dibsie of Mahwah, Basil C. Dibsie of Nevada and Dennis Dibsie and his wife Michele of Morristown. Loving grandmother of Brian, Mark and Daniel Lyle and Jasmine Dibsie. Dear sister of Elias Hatem of Florida and aunt of Maria Portelli

The family will receive family and friends for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, April 16th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at 10 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.

The family requests donations be made in Vivian’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
