Shirley and her husband, Chum (Gilbert) were wonderful neighbors to me and to my parents. We kept in touch over the years. My friend Sandy, who was also a neighbor, and I would visit Shirley and her family every Christmas morning. I was fortunate enough to talk with Shirley about 2 weeks ago. I will miss her. I have wonderful memories of those days. My heartfelt sympathies to her family.
