Shirley was a colleague of mine in Allendale Schools. She mentored me when I arrived there mid-year. I remember her particular techniques in a variety of situations, which were always tried and true ! We frequently shared our love of cooking and gardening, in particular her beloved rhododendron ❤️. I still think of her when I use her method of attaching papers together since I named it “The Anderson Fold” !
Shirley was a good friend.

I am sorry for your loss. I was just telling my 8-year-old son about my favorite teacher, Mrs. Anderson, for teaching me to be curious and work hard. Thank you, Mrs. Anderson.
