Obituary for Rose M Liszczynsky (Lopez)
Rose Liszczynsky of Franklin Lakes died on Sunday, February 20, at home at the age of 88. Mrs. Liszczynsky was born in Ohio and moved to New Jersey in 1956 with her husband Lou of 50 years
Growing up caring for three brothers allowed her to acquire the humility and patience needed to help others. Besides working for the phone company, department stores, and even the local Brach’s candy factory, she exhibited a loving nature towards her family and friends. Later, she demonstrated leadership skills while serving as a Catholic School teacher and volunteered in programs which taught adults to read.
Rose is survived by her son Michael.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ on Saturday, March 12 from 3-5PM . A memorial Service will follow at 5:00PM. A private interment service was held at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, New Jersey.
Memorial donations may be made in Rose’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
