VERNIERI, Robert, 83 of Jupiter, Florida on January 31, 2020. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Robert lived in Franklin Lakes for many years before moving to Jupiter Florida in 2012. He served his country honorably in the Army. Before his retirement in 2000, Robert was the owner of R. Vernieri Excavating Company of Franklin Lakes. He was also a parishioner of the Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church of Franklin Lakes for many years before moving to Florida. He loved his family, especially being a grandfather to his 8 grandchildren.

Beloved Husband of Joan Vernieri (Wilson) for 56 years. Devoted father to Joseph Vernieri and his wife Eleanor of San Francisco CA, Michael Vernieri of Warwick NY, Gina Vernieri of Ramsey, Robert Vernieri of Ramsey and David Vernieri and his wife Mindy of Tewksbury, NJ. Loving grandfather to Christian, Sophia, Justin, Robert, Quinn, Sadie, Jake and Nico Vernieri. Brother of Carol Cline, Joseph Vernieri and his wife Joyce and the late Carmen Vernieri.

The family will receive family and friends on Sunday 2-5 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Mass at St Paul’s RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave. Ramsey, NJ on Monday 10:00 AM with entombment to follow at Mary Rest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
