Obituary for Robert Mutzberg
MUTZBERG, Robert, age 94, of Franklin Lakes, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Robert was born in Paterson to Otto and Bertha (Paulek) Mutzberg. After graduating high school, Robert served his country proudly in the US Army. He married Evelyn Huber in 1951 and they started their lives together in Franklin Lakes, where they have remained ever since. Robert was the owner of Paragon Embroidery in Franklin Lakes. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Franklin Lakes.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Evelyn Mutzberg of Franklin Lakes. Beloved father to Carol Rasovic and her husband Michael of Wyckoff, and Robert T. Mutzberg and his wife Arlene of Franklin Lakes. Cherished grandfather to Reed and his wife Jaquie, Kyle and his wife Jessica, Katherine and her husband Michael, Christine and her husband John, Alexandra and her husband John, and Michael and his wife Brittany. Loving great-grandfather of 15 great-grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his brother Otto Mutzberg.
Friends and family may visit the Mutzberg family on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 4-7 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Funeral service to be held Saturday, April 1, 2023, 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Redeemer Cemetery, Mahwah.
