Obituary for Pauline Atamanic

ATAMANIC, Pauline, 94, of North Haledon passed away peacefully on May 8, 2021. Pauline was born in Paterson on September 1, 1926, and resided there until 1984 when she moved to North Haledon. She was predeceased by her parents, Julia and Samuel, her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and John Burns, and niece, Karen Burns. Before her retirement, Pauline worked for New Jersey Bell in Teaneck for over 30 years. She was a parishioner of St. Paul’s RC Church of Prospect Park, NJ.
Pauline enjoyed her friends and family, especially during each and every holiday. She valued her time with family talking about her trips to Florida to visit her niece, Karen, and conversations about current events. Pauline was blessed with numerous great nieces and nephews who brought great joy to her life.
The family will receive family and friends at the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin lakes, NJ on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at St. Pauls RC Church, Prospect Park at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Pauline’s memory to St. Paul’s RC Church in Prospect Park, NJ
