Obituary for Patrick Welsh

WELSH, Patrick G., 91, of North Haledon, passed away at home with his family by his side on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Patrick, born in Trenton, NJ to Daniel and Mary (Husosky) Welsh was a proud Rutgers Graduate and Army Veteran. He has been a resident of North Haledon since he was 25 years old and served as a Manchester High School Board member. Before his retirement, Patrick worked as a chemist with Tri-Chem in Lyndhurst, NJ. An avid nature enthusiast, Patrick loved the outdoors and hiked the local trails regularly. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed.

Patrick is survived by his beloved wife, Winifred (Schnabl). He is also survived by his daughters Diane Welsh, her husband Robert Palm of Glen Rock, Lynn Welsh Emmolo and her husband Richard Emmolo of Montauk, NY. He was a devoted grandfather to Liliana Emmolo, Robbie Palm, and Teddy Palm.

Friends and family may visit the Welsh family on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 2-4 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Funeral service on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
