Obituary for Michael McCormack
Michael Joseph McCormack, 58, of Wyckoff, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Born in Staten Island, NY, Mike lived in Stony Point, NY, before marrying and moving to Allendale and then Wyckoff, NJ, 26 years ago.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He was a Cub Scout leader and soccer coach in the Wyckoff Community who loved teaching many kids how to fish and camp.
Mike was a dedicated husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife Lynn; his children Ryan, Caroline, and Nicole; his four brothers Sean, Brian, Kevin and Robert and their spouses; his two sisters-in-law, Kathy and Jane and their spouses, and fourteen nieces and nephews.
His parents, John and Margaret McCormack of Stony Point, NY, predeceased him.
The family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, December 10th, at the Vander Plaat Vermeulen Funeral Home, https://www.vpmemorial.com/, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 11th, at the St. Elizabeth’s RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
