Obituary for Michael A Canger IV
Michael A Canger IV, 34, of Ramsey, NJ, formerly of Upper Saddle River, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 11, 2020 in Ramsey, NJ.
Michael was born in Englewood NJ to Joyce Caruso Canger and Michael A Canger III on 4/14/1986. He went to school at Northern Highlands Regional High School, attended Bergen Community College and Ramapo College. Michael married the former Caitlin Pietrosanto on July 6th, 2017 in Tulum, Mexico. He was the owner of Mars Marketing for 7 years. Among his many accomplishments, he was most proud of becoming a father to his son, Michael Anthony Canger V, in April 2019. He loved being a dad more than anything in life.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Caruso Canger.
Mike is survived by his wife, Caitlin Pietrosanto Canger, son Michael A Canger V, father Michael A Canger III, step mother Suzanne DeLuca, sister Ava Canger and her partner Jeff Sauerman, step brother John DeLuca and his wife Karina, and step brother Tony DeLuca and his partner Jacklyn Constantino. Michael was the proud godfather of Landon Marcino, the uncle to Matthew DeLuca and Matthew Pietrosanto, and was beloved by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed by both his family and friends.
The Canger family will receive family and friends outdoors at the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ on Wednesday from 3-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a custodial account has been set up for the education of his son, Michael A. Canger V. Checks can be made out to Transamerica and will be deposited into his account.
