Martha (Mickiewicz) Mennella, 92, on February 4, 2021 of Franklin Lakes, NJ. Born in Paterson, Martha had lived in Franklin Lakes for the past 70 years. She worked with her husband Pat Mennella at Mennella’s Poultry in Paterson. She was a homemaker to her family as well as being very active in her church, Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Franklin Lakes and in her community. Over the years Martha was a member of the Franklin Lakes VFW Auxiliary, Franklin Lakes Seniors, Franklin Lakes Woman’s Club and Most Blessed Sacrament Bereavement Group.

Martha was the devoted wife of the late Pat Mennella (2004). Beloved mother of Carrie Etzel and her husband Earl, Dolores Nabinger and her husband Roy and John Mennella and his wife Karen. Loving Grandmother of Vince (Laura) Etzel, Christopher (Ivonne) Etzel, Rebecca (Nate) Flynn, Michael (Jenny) Clark, Carly (Devon) Zimmer William (Erica) Clark, Matthew (Alisha) Clark, Garry (Nicole) Nabinger, Celestia (Kodi) Frank, Francesca (Ahmed) Ghusson, John Mennella and Tatianna Mennella. She is survived by 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Sister of the late Doris O’Malley (2020) and had 2 special nieces, Doreen O’Malley and Colleen (Matt) Celmer. A special thanks from the Mennella family to Martha’s faithful caregiver Elizabeth.

Family and friends may visit at the Vander Plaat –Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road Franklin Lakes on Friday from 3-7PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth’s RC church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ on Saturday 10:00 AM followed by interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Martha’s memory to Shriners Hospital for Children of Philadelphia, PA or the Franklin Lakes Ambulance Corps, or send flowers to someone special to brighten their day in our mother’s memory.
