Obituary for Lois L. Aupperlee (Russell)
Lois L. Aupperlee (nee Russell) , age 97, of Lititz, PA, passed away on June 12, 2020. Born in Paterson, she lived in Hawthorne and Franklin Lakes before moving to Luther Acres in Lititz, PA in 2016.
She was a member of Living Word Reformed Church in North Haledon. She served as a Girl Scout leader and Sunday School teacher for many years, and was an active volunteer at Luther Acres for the past 4 years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter Aupperlee, in 2012. She was the devoted mother of Judith Elzinga and her husband, Simon (Sam) of Marietta, PA; Janice DeBoer and her husband, Donald, of Wescosville, PA; and Joyce Breur and her husband, Robert, of Oakland. Loving grandmother of Peter Elzinga, Kristen (Elzinga) Ridge, Michael DeBoer, Kelly (Breur) King, Lisa (Breur) Veenema, Jennifer (DeBoer) Sawicki, and Brian DeBoer. Loving great-grandmother of Hannah, Robert, Tabitha, Mikayla, Megan, Aaron, Mia, Luke, Adam, Emily and Allison.
Funeral services will be private by the family.
