Obituary for John A. Jones
John A. Jones passed away suddenly on Friday, August 3, 2018. He was a current resident of The Villages, FL.
Born in Bayonne, NJ, he lived most of his life in Wyckoff, NJ before moving to Florida.
John owned and operated Insurance Professionals in Paramus for many years before becoming a licensed realtor for a
second profession.
He proudly served his country in the US Army.
John loved being with his family and friends, coaching soccer and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife, Alice, two daughters, Tami Mackle and her husband, Finbarr; and Tara Altilio and
her husband, Michael; three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nicholas, and Aidan; sister Barbara Campion and a brother,
Richard Jones as well as many loving family member and close friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, August 19th, 4-7 PM at Vander Plaat Vermeulen Funeral Home,
590 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, 07417.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Monday, August 20th at 10 AM, at Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church,
787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes, 07417.
