Obituary for Joan Warburton
WARBURTON. Joan, 69 on March 3, 2020 of Franklin Lakes, NJ. Born in Teaneck, Joan lived in Mahwah before moving to Franklin Lakes 30 years ago. Joan retired in 2017 after serving for 32 years as a dispatcher for the Franklin Lakes Police Department. She also had volunteered for the Mahwah Ambulance as an EMT.
Joan was predeceased by her parents John and Charlotte Warburton. Beloved mother of Ronald Singer. Loving grandmother of Joshua, Jamie and Nicholas. Sister of Alison Blanchard and Danny Lombardi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family at the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ on Saturday March 14, 2020 from 1-2 PM followed by a 2PM service at the funeral home.
The family requests no flowers and that donations be made in Joan’s memory to New Alternatives, 410 West 40th Street, New York, New York.
