SHEA James, 72 on April 7, 2020 of Allendale, NJ.
As quietly as he lived his life that's how quietly Kevin departed this life. Married to Nancy (Ganguzza) Shea for 44 and 1/2 years and lived in Allendale for 38 years. Loving father of Katelyn Cortes and her husband Antero, Kristen Shea and Jordan Shea. Dear grandfather of Shea Cortes. He attended Bergen Catholic High School, then went on to the Maritime College State University of N.Y.Merchant Marine Academy at Fort Schuyler. Served in the United States Coast Guard from 1970 to 1973. His love of cars, especially Corvettes, began at his family owned dealership, Shea Chevrolet, in Hackensack, N.J. since he was a young boy. Started out sweeping floors and doing menial tasks and learning all aspects of the business then becoming Vice President. He worked at Alpha Analytical in Mahwah N.J. He attended the Midland Park Christian Reformed Church in Midland Park, N.J. He coached his children's soccer and hockey games and loved watching football and hockey on TV..He was a kind, gentle man and a true gentleman was loved and respected by many. Gone too soon!
