Jai Young Lee
June 19, 1939 – October 3, 2020 (Age 81)
Dr. Jai Young Lee, husband, father, grandfather, and a dedicated physician for over 35 years passed away on October 3, 2020. He is survived by his wife, two children and three grandchildren (including one expecting). Jai and wife Sook immigrated to the US in 1971 after he served in the Vietnam War as a Doctor for the Korean Army. He was the first in his family to attend college, and received his medical degree from the prestigious Seoul National University in Korea. Jai was a man of few words who devoted himself fully to his family and friends. He enjoyed walks in the park with his wife, fishing with his son, photography and tinkering with computers. Jai also tutored his children each day to ensure they achieved their greatest academic potential.
The Lee family will receive family and friends on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Vander Plaat - Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes NJ from 10 AM - 12:00 PM
