Gail Sunderland

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Fastert's passing. As his secretary in Pittsburgh, I enjoyed working with him each day. Everyday he thanked me for the job I did. He never wasted a minute of his time and was compassionate and kind. A wonderful man. My deepest sympathy, Gail Sunderland

Herb was a great friend and mentor to many of us at the SMS group. I had the opportunity to work with him through the merger of SMS and Demag and will forever be grateful for the help and guidance he gave me. He will be long remembered and missed.
