Grace Stegen of Washingtonville, NY formally of Franklin Lakes entered into rest on August 14, 2021, at Sunrise of Wayne. She was 98. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, on December 8, 1922 to Joseph Alcock and Anna Gordon Alcock. Grace was the wife of the late Clifford Stegen; they were married for 67 years. Grace worked at the Franklin Lakes Pharmacy and Meals on Wheels. She loved playing bingo and gambling. Grace was known to be seen snowmobiling and skeet shooting in Cedarville, NY. Grace was also an avid Mets fan.
Devoted mother of Patricia Meyers and her husband Donald of Franklin Lakes and Bruce Stegen and his wife Anna of Little Egg Harbor. Loving grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 11.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 17, from 4-6 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. There will be a memorial service held at 5:30 during the visitation.
