MCROBERTS, George William “Bill” 85, of Tomkins Cove, New York passed away on May 24, 2019. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Ridgewood before moving to Tomkins Cove over 40 years ago. He had been in the food purveying business for over 60 years, and most recently worked in sales for Driscoll Foods in Clifton. Bill was a huge “NY Giants Fan”, an avid golfer and animal lover.

Devoted father of Suzanne Antaki and her husband Alan of Franklin Lakes, Patricia McRoberts of Edgewater, Nancy Balaz and her husband John of Beachwood, Carol Fisher of Thurmont, Maryland, Bill McRoberts and his wife Beth Ann of Purcellville, VA and the late David McRoberts and his surviving wife, Marilyn.
Loving grandfather of Kiersten, Natalia, Max, Seth, Shelly, Christopher, Adam, James, Vincent and great-grandfather of Noah, Orin, and Scottie

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 5-9 pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
Funeral Services Wednesday 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am
Mass at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 787 Franklin Lake Rd, Franklin Lakes.
Interment Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the ASPCA.
