Obituary for Fortuna Marino (Magliozzi)

Fortuna Carmela Marino (nee Magliozzi) was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. She & her pre-deceased sister Philomena AKA(Flip) were raised in a loving Italian home with plenty of food on the table and regular family gatherings.

Fortuna was born on July 17th, 1930 to Antoinette (nee Pagano) and Joseph Magliozzi She is survived by her son Mark Marino, daughter Kim Resetar & husband Paul, daughter Joan Enger & husband Kyle, daughter in law Sheri Marino & predeceased son Robert Marino. She was especially fond of her 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Fortuna is survived by her dear sister in laws, Adaline Roth and her husband Hal and Olga Delaney. She.was also loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Fortuna and Harold were devout Roman Catholics and prayed every day together. They were life-long parishioners of St. Paul’s church for 70+ years. She was a wonderful home maker, wife and mother and devoted her entire life to her husband, family and her devout faith in the Lord.

Having the privilege to know Fortuna only for the last 10 years of her life was a joy. Her faith in God was and continues to be an inspiration to me and others. RIP Fortuna.
