DI VINCENZO, Elda. – 90, of Jersey City passed away on October 10, 2018. She was born in Ortona, Italy and in 1956 decided to immigrate to the United States on the last voyage of the Andrea Doria. She survived the sinking of the Andrea Doria and settled in Jersey City where she lived her entire life. She was a retired dressmaker in Union City and attended St. Nicholas Church in Jersey City.

Devoted mother of Dr. John Koliopoulos and his wife Dr. Melissa Scollan - Koliopoulos of Ringwood. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Aidan and Connor. Dear sister of the late Maria Russo and the late Tomaso Di Vincenzo.

The family will receive family and friends on Friday from 6-8pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services Saturday 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church in Park Ridge. Interment Mary Rest Cemetery, Mahwah.
