Obituary for Dennis A. Peters

PETERS, Dennis A.– 67, of Franklin Lakes passed away on July 24, 2018.
Born in Teaneck and formerly of Fairview, he has lived in Franklin Lakes for the past 35 years.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Dennis was a proud firefighter for the Jersey City Fire Department for 28 years and retired in 2003 as a Battalion Chief. He also was an electrician, mechanic, builder and coached baseball in Franklin Lakes.

Beloved husband of Suki Peters (nee Yang).
Devoted father of Dennis Peters and his wife Amelia of Franklin Lakes and Joseph Peters and his wife Nada of Franklin Lakes.
Loving grandfather of Madeline, Chase, Jenna, and Gia.
Dear brother of William Peters of River Vale and the Late Arlene Truncellito.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
Funeral service will be Friday at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
Interment Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
