It was nice to spend time with Craig in May. We spoke about our certain faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We also discussed our certainty of Heaven and that nothing we ever did or could ever do qualified us for this God given gift. Likewise, nothing we ever did or could ever do can cause our freely given and paid for salvation to be removed. Paul tells us clearly,
"(Rom. 8:38) For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
(Rom. 8:39) nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

It is Christ and Christ alone that allowed for use to avoid our due death penalty for sin - Christ paid it in full 100% on the cross according to God's plan. Jesus + nothing = certain salvation for those that believe.

"(2Cor. 5:21) He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
"(Phil. 3:9) and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith."

Hebrews is also clear on this sound doctrine and today it gives me great hope and joy that I will see my cousin Craig one day again when God calls me home to forever praise Him. Craig is now without the pain he knew on earth in a sinful body and is now in fellowship with his father, his grandfather, his grandmother, his sister, and his Savior.

I encourage each one reading this to spend time listening to and learning the amazing truths in Scripture that are explained fully and clearly in the lessons at
God Bless Each of You.

Warmest regards,
