TALSMA, Catherine (Den Haan), 82, on September 1, 2022 of North Haledon, NJ. Born in Paterson, Catherine was a lifelong resident of North Haledon. After completing college she was an elementary teacher before devoting her time to raising her children. Before her retirement she was a bookkeeper for Absolute Filters in North Haledon. Catherine was a member of Midland Park Christian Reformed Church.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Talsma (2020). Devoted mother of Kyle Talsma and his wife Alexandra, Jill Boonstra and her husband Glenn and Scott Talsma. Loving “Mema" to Eric Boonstra and his wife Rachel, Steffanie Honore` and her husband Andrew, Chad Boonstra and his fiancé Megan, Bradley Talsma, Brooke Talsma and Brennen Talsma. Great grandmother of Natalie and Steffen.
A graveside service will be held at the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Maple Ave. Fair Lawn NJ on Saturday 10:00 AM.
