UFFERFILGE, Carolou E. of Oakland, and formerly of Rochelle Park, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. She was born in Jersey City, NJ to Alfred and Vera (Connelly) Christiansen. Carolou was predeceased by her husband Carl in 2015 and her daughter Linda in 1980. She and Carl spent 56 years of loving and loyal marriage together. She embraced her role as a loving wife and mother and taking care of their home. After the children had grown, she enjoyed working part-time doing various tasks and jobs at Oakland Holiday Bowl. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s RC Church in Pompton Lakes.

Carolou was a loving and devoted mother to Thomas and his wife Ellie of Highland Lakes, Michael of Bloomingdale, Robert of Oakland, and the late Linda Ufferfilge. Cherished grandmother to John, Jessie, Kevin, Liam, and Ava. Beloved great-grandmother to Archie, Callie, Brady, and Briggs.

Family and friends may visit the Ufferfilge family on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 10 AM – 11:30 AM with a funeral service immediately following visitation at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mary Rest Cemetery in Mahwah.
