Obituary for Caroline Gvoth (Kammerer)
GVOTH, Caroline (Kammerer), 82 of North Haledon on August 16, 2020. Born in Paterson, Caroline had lived in North Haledon since 1956. Before her retirement she was a book-keeper for Joseph Teshon Textile company of Paterson. She had attended St. Marys RC church of Paterson, St. Gerards RC Church of Haledon and Grace Bible Church of North Haledon. She loved her family and especially her twin boys, John and Tom, as well as her grandchildren.
Caroline was the devoted wife of John Gvoth, Sr. for 63 years. Beloved mother of John Gvoth, Jr. and his wife Amy of Pompton Plains and Thomas Gvoth and his wife Jackie. Loving grandmother of Stephanie Vortman, Kelly Gvoth, Kristina Festa, Nicole Gvoth and Tommy Gvoth. Great grandmother of Eli and Noah Vortman and Jesse Festa. Sister of the late Raymond and John Kammerer.
The family looks forward to the day when they will be reunited once again in glory with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Gvoth family will receive family and friends at the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ on Friday 4-8 PM. Funeral Service on Saturday 10:30 AM at Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home. Interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ.
