Obituary for Beverly Ann Klingler (Rigg)

KLINGLER, Beverly Ann (nee Rigg), 77, of Long Beach island, New Jersey passed away in her family’s home on March 4th. Beverly was born in Paterson and had lived in Franklin Lakes before moving to Long Beach Island 20 years ago. She was a former elementary and early childhood teacher and a real estate agent with Weichert in Franklin Lakes and Jersea Realty on Long Beach Island for many years. Beverly is currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC church of Long Beach Island. Before moving to Long Beach Island Beverly was an active member of Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church of Franklin Lakes for many years.

Devoted wife of Joseph Klingler for over 55 years. Beloved mother of Joseph Klingler and his wife Kimberly of Franklin Lakes, Kathleen Jennings and her husband Matthew of Brick, NJ, Brian Klingler and his wife Diane of Montvale, NJ and Jennifer Jordan and her husband Tristan of Stonington, CT. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren- Kyle and his wife Katie, Jordan and his wife Brittany, Kate, Erin, Matthew, Luke, Christian, Dakota, Joe, Tyler, Tess and Max. Loving great-grandmother of Kole, Mason, Kinsley, and 2 more great grandchildren due this Spring. Beloved sister of Audrey Bogert of Manahawkin, NJ.

Beverly lived her life for her family. She smiled everyday, always remarking how blessed she felt. She rejoiced in a house by the sea, full of her children, grandchildren and great grand children. She could often be found happily cooking away in the kitchen, or playing games at the table with her loved ones. She appreciated the little things in life and found the best in others. She always cheered on her family, now her legacy, and was a steady and beloved anchor in their lives. Her love story with her husband Joe is one for the ages that inspires their children. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive family and friends at the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ on Monday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth RC Church Wyckoff, NJ on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. A private cremation was held.
