COLON, Aracelia (nee Freytes) – 85, of Haledon passed away on September 6, 2018. Born in Puerto Rico she has lived in Haledon for the past 31 years.

Beloved wife of Jose Colon. Devoted mother of Araceli Rivera and her husband Felix, Marlen Kender and her husband John, Diana Scialla and her husband David and the late Sonia Nasif. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 3.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday from 3-7 pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services Tuesday 10:30 am at the funeral home
