INDOMENICO. Antonino “Nino”– 83, of North Haledon passed away on March 24, 2019. He was born in Sicily. During World War II he served in the Italian Army and was stationed in Milan. In 1971 Antonino immigrated to the United States and settled in Paterson before moving to North Haledon 38 years ago. Prior to his retirement in 2000 he was the owner of Tony’s Fruit Market on Washington Street in Paterson. Antonino was a member of the Solarino Italian American Club in Paterson.
Beloved husband of Gesa (nee Valenti) Indomenico. Devoted father of Silvana Martirano and her husband Anthony of Mendham Township, Sebastian Indomenico and his wife Denise of Wayne, Tina Indomenico and her companion Bebars Balkar of North Haledon and Paul Indomenico and his wife Lisandra of Florida.
Loving grandfather of Justin, Melissa, Mattison, Daniella, A.J., Sarah, Armani, Ava, Antonino and Penelope. Dear brother of Pippa Indomenico of Australia and pre-deceased by 5 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 3-8 pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Service Wednesday at 9:00AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:30AM Mass at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
