Obituary for Antoinette Di Pietro

Di Pietro, Antoinette, 99, passed away on February 27, 2021 at her home. Born in Paterson on August 18, 1921 to
Antonio and Teresa (nee Tammaro) Di Pietro; Antoinette was a lifelong Paterson resident. After graduating from Eastside High School, Antoinette worked as an inspector with Barbizon in Paterson. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Anthony’s RC Church in Paterson for many years. Antoinette found solace in her gardening, and especially enjoyed tending to her hydrangeas. In her free time, she loved to bake, and blessing many with her delicious baked goods.

Antoinette is survived by her adoring nieces and nephews; Anthony Di Pietro, Charlene D’Amelio, Debbie Lantz and her husband Mark, Charles Di Pietro and his wife Diana. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews Maryanne, Justin, Danielle, Heather, Nicole, Jason, Adam, ToniMarie, Ryan, Christopher, Samantha and 15 great, great nieces and nephews. Antoinette was also predeceased by her siblings, her sister Sue Di Pietro, and brothers Joe and Alfonso Di Pietro; her nephew Joey and niece Maryanne.

Friends and family may visit the Di Pietro family on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 am. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, 50 McLean Boulevard, Paterson, NJ.
