Obituary for Andrew Marinus "Andy" Van Beveren

Andrew Marinus Van Beveren, 74, of North Haledon on September 17, 2021. Born in Paterson he had lived in Midland Park before moving to North Haledon in 1985. He served honorably in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He retired from Sony in 2000 as a computer analyst. After retiring Andy took a part time position with the North Haledon DPW and worked at the recycling center. Andrew was a member of the Living Word Reformed Church in North Haledon and the North Haledon American Legion post 0428.

Andy was the devoted husband of Nancy Van Beveren (Decker) for 51 years. Beloved father of Jill Van Beveren and Todd Van Beveren and his wife Christine. Loving grandfather of Andrew James, Brynn Noelle, Reese Mercedes, Cooper John and Bryson Andrew. Brother of Anita De Korte and Beatrice Spalt. He was predeceased by his sister Joanne Feasenmeyer and brother David Van Beveren

The family will receive friends at the Living Word Reformed Church, 21 Pleasant View Drive North Haledon on Tuesday 5-7 PM. A memorial service will be held at the church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM . Private interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Cemetery, Totowa.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Andrew’s memory.
