MENEGHIN, Alma S. (nee Shields) – 87, of Ridgewood passed away on March 18, 2019. Born in W. Springfield, MA she was a long-time resident of Ridgewood. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood.

Beloved wife of the late Eric Meneghin. (1989). Devoted mother of Kent Meneghin of Washington, Bruce Meneghin and his wife Patti of Colorado, Mark Meneghin and his wife Kathy of Glen Rock and Brian Meneghin and his wife Julia of Pennington, NJ. Loving grandmother of Maggie, Carolyn, Jessamyn, Charlie and Eliza, Loving sister of Connie Daggett of MA., Maureen Wysmuller of CT., Richard Shields of MA., and the late Robert Shields of MA.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Ridgewood. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Alma’s memory to the Christian Health Care Center, 301 Sicomac Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
