Alice Evelyn Stefano, of Pompton Lakes, passed away on December 23, 2021. She was born on November 18, 1943 and raised in North Bergen, NJ. She was pre-deceased by her parents Albert and Alice Stahl, daughter Sherri Lynn Froelenstedt, husband Rudolph Stefano, brother Lester Stahl and sister-in-law Dorothy Stahl. She will be sorely missed by her loving children, Robert Froelenstedt of Pompton Lakes and Lisa Fabris of Oakland, her partner Dr. Sal Tuzzeo, her grandchildren Jameson and Leah Fabris, step-daughter Meri Pace, step-granddaughter Lauren Gannon, brothers Albert Stahl and Jack Stahl and his wife Phyllis, sister Judy Mansfield and her husband, Patrick, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Alice was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a natural caretaker and enjoyed nothing more than time with those she loved.
The family will receive friends at the Vander Plaat – Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 2-6 PM. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 6:00 PM.
